I first made these Pickle-in-a-Blanket treats for a weekend picnic & they were gone in a flash. Everyone loved the fun combination of creamy, tangy & soft textures wrapped up for easy snacking.

Ingredients

  • Large flour tortillas: Use 4 tortillas, about 8 inches each
  • Dill pickles: 4 whole, large pickles bring classic tang
  • Cheddar cheese slices: 4 slices, or use Swiss for a milder taste
  • Cream cheese: 4 oz (115 g), softened for easy spreading
  • Fresh dill (optional): 2 tbsp chopped adds herby brightness
  • Red onion (optional): 1 tbsp finely diced for a hint of bite
  • Yellow mustard (optional): 1 tbsp for extra tangy flavor

Instructions

Prepare the base:
