Golden rolls stuffed with Alfredo, spinach, and garlic for a delicious bite at gatherings or pizza night.
# Components:
→ Dough
01 - 1 lb refrigerated pizza dough or homemade
02 - All-purpose flour, for dusting
→ Alfredo Sauce
03 - 1/2 cup heavy cream
04 - 2 tbsp unsalted butter
05 - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
06 - 1 clove garlic, minced
07 - Salt and black pepper, to taste
→ Filling
08 - 2 cups fresh spinach, roughly chopped
09 - 2 tbsp olive oil
10 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
11 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
12 - 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
→ Topping
13 - 1 tbsp melted unsalted butter
14 - 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
15 - 1 tsp dried Italian herbs or oregano
# Method Steps:
01 - Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Add Parmesan cheese, mixing until smooth and melted. Season with salt and black pepper. Remove from heat and set aside to cool slightly.
03 - Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until aromatic, about 30 seconds. Add chopped spinach and cook until wilted, about 2 minutes. Lightly season with salt and transfer to a bowl to cool.
04 - On a lightly floured surface, roll out pizza dough into a 12x15-inch rectangle.
05 - Spread Alfredo sauce evenly over dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border around the edges. Distribute sautéed spinach evenly atop the sauce. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and red pepper flakes if desired.
06 - Starting from one long edge, roll up the dough tightly into a log, then pinch the seam to seal. Slice into 12 equal pieces.
07 - Place the rolls cut side up on the prepared baking sheet, spaced slightly apart. Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle with extra Parmesan and Italian herbs.
08 - Bake for 18–22 minutes until golden and bubbling.
09 - Allow rolls to cool slightly before serving.
